CREATING YOUR OWN HOME PRACTICE

If you are looking to create or refine your own home practice before the summer, this may be just the thing ! We’ll look at the type of postures and practices, how they work on the body-mind, how to sequence your practice, and how to set realistic and attainable goals. The aim is for you to have a home practice that is appropriate to your personal aims and needs, and do-able within the constraints of your daily life.

Si vous voulez créer ou raffiner un pratique de yoga pour faire seul(e) chez vous avant l’été, ce stage est pour vous ! Un atelier en français, et un atelier en anglais, nous travaillons sur les type ou genres des postures et pratiques, comment ils travaillent sur le corps-esprit, comment de mis en séquence, et comment de créer un pratique personnel qui vous convienne.

Yoga Survival Tools for Teenagers, and Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs


Yoga Survival Tools for Teenagers
A 6-week course designed to give teenagers and young people tools to help manage stress and anxiety, to harness their focus and concentration, to handle emotions better, to relieve lower back pain and tension in the neck and shoulders, to re-energize, develop core strength and increase flexibility. Pre-registration is required.

Saturday afternoons and early evenings

Group I: ages 11-14 from 16h00-17h00
Group II: ages 14-22 from 17h30-19h00




Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs
A 12-week study course designed to give those with chronic and recurring lower back issues the tools to manage lower back pain. The course is based on a large research trial conducted the the University of York and funded by Arthritis Research UK. Its protocols have shown that this program is more effective than the 'usual care' hospitals provide to these patients in the UK.

The course meets once weekly and practice at home is an integral part of the program. This helps to ensure that by the end of the course students have the tools to keep their backs healthy for years to come. A yoga mat at home will be needed. Course book, relaxation CD and course handouts are included in the course fee.

Forming a New Class -- all levels

I would like to propose a Monday lunchtime Yoga class near Porte Maillot. This would be a small group class (maximum 8 people) open to all levels, and in the format of a Workshop Series. This class can be conducted in English or in French, according to need.

The first series would be for 3 weeks:
December 1st
December 8th
December 15th

The price would be 60€ paid in advance.

The heart energy center, anahata chakra, is that beautiful space in each of us in which our material and spiritual aspects meet -- the animal and the soul, earth and sky, finite and infinite. In this workshop we will work with breath, yoga postures, sound and guided meditation to cleanse and replenish, to release blockages and to open to that infinite nourishment that is always available to us through the breath and through the heart center.
